Nick Offerman’s day long stint (April 4) presenting four films at The Marquee at Union South is just one “special guest” highlight among many at the 19th annual Wisconsin Film Festival from March 30-April 6, 2017.
In addition to this world-class line-up, many of the Wisconsin’s Own filmmakers whose films are a vital part of this year’s Festival will also be in attendance; including Ryan Churchill, writer and star of The 60 Yard Line along with that film’s director, Leif Gantvoort, and co-star, co-writer Nick Greco. The Festival also proudly welcomes Golden Badger award-winning filmmakers Diane Moy Quon, Kate Raney and Jeremy Bessoff, and students from Crestwood Elementary School.
Our Golden Badger winners will be joined on Opening Night at the Barrymore by filmmakers Marc Kornblatt, Andrew Swant, Jeff Buss and Christina Ciano, Wisconsin filmmaking legend Mark Borchardt, and Wisconsin radio icon, Michael Feldman.
Guest filmmakers will participate in post-screening Q&As with Festival audiences and meet with students from UW-Madison’s Communication Arts department. After the day’s screenings, guests of the Fest will mix and mingle at Festival Afterglow events at participating area hotels, and on Sunday morning, April 2nd, will enjoy a refreshing beverage and home cooked delights at our Filmmakers Brunch at The Livingston Inn.
